Details

Achieve hairline-tight corners on baseboards and trim even when walls aren’t square.

MiterMate is a two-piece jig that captures your real wall angle and guides your hand saw through mirrored cuts on both trim pieces, so the joint snaps tight on the first cut. No protractor, no half-angle math, no extra store trips.

Two articulated arms fold to mirror the actual corner, letting you set the angle directly from 85° to 180°—interior or exterior. Steel guide pins keep the saw blade vertical through every stroke, delivering splinter-free edges and a clean, parallel surface on both pieces.

A heavy-duty central wing nut clamps the assembled angle so there’s no drift, no batteries, and no calibration required.

Three steps to a tight corner

  1. Open and press flat: seat MiterMate into the corner; the two arms fold to match interior or exterior angles automatically.
  2. Lock the angle: tighten the central wing nut so both channels reflect the mirrored half-angle.
  3. Cut both pieces: slide a hand saw through each set of steel guide pins for two perfectly mirrored cuts.

From baseboards to crown molding, quarter-round, shoe molding, picture frames, and floor edges, this tool is a favorite for DIYers and finish carpenters working in spaces that aren’t perfectly plumb.

What you get with every cut: tight, gap-free corners; no protractor math or transfer marks; and clean edges thanks to steel guides.
