Constructed from 0.098" cold-rolled steel plate, not stamped tin, this pairing can handle heavy loads with minimal deflection. Mount a pair beneath your work surface and load it with a router, a vise, and stacked plywood without bending or sagging.
Inside each ForgeFold bracket sits a steel latch on a tension spring. Open the hinge to 90° and the latch drops behind a stop block, locking against downward pressure. When you’re ready to fold, press the side release tab; the latch retracts, the hinge swings down, and the entire unit sits flush against your wall or table base in two seconds—no tools required.
Drills in under 10 minutes with hardware included: M4 1.02-inch mounting screws are provided so you can anchor the bracket and start loading the surface right away.
Mounting is a three-step process. 1) Position the bracket flat against a wall, table base, or bed frame and mark the four mounting holes; pre-drill if your wood is hardwood. 2) Drive in the included M4 screws to anchor the bracket, repeating for the second bracket—most builds use a pair, and two pairs for spans over four feet. 3) Attach your surface to the upper plate, swing to 90°, and listen for the latch click.
