LuminaSphere is a palm-starting hover orb that turns a simple toss into a guided flight with a return trajectory, pulling kids away from screens. A quick tap on the base wakes the internal gyro while LEDs glow blue, red, and purple around the cage as the orb lifts from an open palm and boomerangs back when your hand reaches for it.
Designed with a 360-degree protective cage, it operates without a remote or an app and is USB-rechargeable so there’s no battery drawer to rummage for. A single button on the bottom powers it up, and the LED ring around the cage signals when it’s ready to fly.
Inside the 9.5 cm cage sits a brushless rotor with six gyro sensors stacked above it. These sensors detect tilt and yaw fifty times per second, allowing the orb to hover steadily on an open palm and bend its path back toward you after a throw rather than veering off course.
The outer shell, made of ABS plastic with internal ribbing, absorbs hits from walls, couches, or pets, bouncing and re-stabilizing for continuous flight. It’s built for both indoor play and outdoor use on a lawn or balcony, though strong wind can push it off course.
On a full USB-C charge, roughly 45 minutes, LuminaSphere returns to air and can run for about two hours. It arrives in blue, red, and purple and is suitable for ages six and up. Two-player catch works across roughly six feet, whether you’re indoors or on a lawn, balcony, or similar space; wind outdoors may loosen the path slightly.
Three simple steps get you from box to first flight: charge with the included USB-C cable until the base LED shifts from red to green, press and hold the bottom button for two seconds to activate the cage, then hold the orb flat on an open palm and give it a gentle forward toss. Most kids master the motion after three or four tries.
Two-player sessions are a common scenario, with many families adding a second sphere in a contrasting color to prevent mix-ups. If LuminaSphere doesn’t engage a child within the first week, a refund is available with return shipping covered, offering a straightforward alternative to disposable toys.
