A highly realistic lunar surface is recreated through 3D printing, and magnets sustain the moon in a hovering position above the base, where it can rotate for a captivating display.
Reaction and control are touch-based, with three lighting modes to choose from: White, Warm White, and Warm Yellow. The 3D Floating Moon Lamp relies on magnetic levitation to hover and spins automatically, powered by the included AC adapter.
How to Make It Float
- Place the base on a flat non-metallic surface, connect the cable to the base, and plug the adapter into power to turn it on.
- Hold the moon by its center, start about 10 cm above the base, and slowly lower it until you’re roughly 2 cm above the surface; you should feel a gentle upward push.
- When it seems balanced, release carefully. If it sticks, repeat from step two.
