HydroMaster replaces a cracked IBC tap with a complete, ready-to-install kit that stops water loss from rain. The box includes a zinc alloy ball tap, a 25 cm PE downpipe, a 1" buttress adapter, and 15 m sealing tape.
Compared with the OEM plastic valve, this zinc tap resists sun and freeze-thaw, featuring a metal lever and brass hose tail for durability.
Two-stage sealing uses blue compression nuts that bite a 360° gasket around the PE pipe, plus tape on the buttress thread for two independent seals.
Sealing occurs at the thread, not the valve body; the compression ring and tape work together to stop drips where the old valve failed.
Designed for garden, greenhouse, and farm setups, the 3/4" outlet fits standard garden hose connectors, and it suits most 275–330 gallon totes with the common S60×6 buttress thread. If your tote uses a nonstandard thread, you can bridge the gap with a buttress-thread adapter from any hardware store.
Installation typically takes about 10 minutes. Step 1: remove the cracked valve from the tote’s buttress thread with water-pump pliers or a basin wrench. Step 2: wrap sealing tape around the buttress thread, screw on the adapter, and snug the blue compression nuts onto the downpipe and the valve. Step 3: fill the tote, inspect the joints, and tighten a quarter turn if any seepage remains.
