The AeroLuxe Orb spans 9.5 cm in diameter and responds to hand movements through a built-in 360° gyroscope sensor, allowing it to hover, climb, glide sideways, and loop back toward the palm without any remote or app.
Four enclosed propellers driven by a brushless motor sit inside a soft ABS plastic mesh cage. An impact sensor cuts motor power on contact with walls, furniture, or hands, preventing blades from continuing to spin after a collision.
RGB lights cycle through multiple colors while the orb spins, remaining visible during daytime use and creating a pulsing effect once indoor lighting is lowered. The cage keeps the lights attached even after repeated impacts.
A single USB cable recharges the lithium-ion battery in approximately 25 minutes, delivering 8 to 10 minutes of flight time. No separate batteries are required.
Hand-Controlled Operation
Shake the orb upright to activate the sensor. Toss it upward, then move an open palm beneath it to sustain flight or angle the throw to initiate a return path. The gyroscope adjusts pitch and direction in real time based on air pressure changes near the hand.
Age Range and Use Locations
The mesh cage and automatic motor shut-off make the orb suitable for ages 6 and up under supervision. It functions indoors in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms, and outdoors on calm days. Strong wind can interfere with the sensor.
